Petroleum Distillates
Safety
Petroleum distillates are flammable and must be handled accordingly.
Some people recommend a difference of 27 ° F between flash point and operating temperature.
If ultrasonics are used, the bath temperature will rise over time.
Toxicity levels of petroleum distillates are considered low.
The paraffinic hydrocarbons have very low odor and aromatic content.
