Safety

  • Petroleum distillates are flammable and must be handled accordingly.

  • Some people recommend a difference of 27 ° F between flash point and operating temperature.

  • If ultrasonics are used, the bath temperature will rise over time.

  • Toxicity levels of petroleum distillates are considered low.

  • The paraffinic hydrocarbons have very low odor and aromatic content.
