Safety

  • Operators require protection from fine particles suspended in the air.

  • Noise levels should be monitored and hearing protection provided, if needed.

  • Wheat starch dust below 125 æ m is explosive. Avoid open flames, smoking, friction, sparks, static sparks, welding and cutting tools in concentrated dust.

  • Avoid contact with water.
