The U.S. Department of Energy Internet Homepage offers a wide range of information to Internet browsers. Located on the World Wide Web at http://www.doe.gov/, the homepage is divided into six sections: About the Department; Information Services; News and Hot Topics; What's New; OpenNet; and People, Places, and Organizations. Although some areas are still under construction, the homepage is a great resource for information on DOE's headquarters, program offices, laboratories, and field/operations offices. Upcoming meetings, demonstrations, conferences, and workshops are also discussed.
The homepage offers links to many resources outside DOE, including the White House, other U.S. government homepages, and other World Wide Web homepages. A Consumer Comment Form is provided to give browsers the chance to give feedback about the homepage.
