Profile of Small and Medium-size Manufacturers in Massachusetts

A very large concentration of companies has less than 10 employees. This represents a challenge for MMP because although these small companies represent a large segment of the market, the cost of sales to these companies is extremely high, and these companies have fewer resources (both time and money) available to permit them to participate in MMP projects.
