Green Permits

DEQ's Green Permits Program encourages and rewards facilities that go the extra mile to reduce environmental impacts. A Green Permit modifies how a facility needs to comply with environmental regulations if it meets certain qualifications. A "tiered" approach offers different types of Green Permits, in which increasing performance receives increasing benefits.
