Heavy Metals Remediation Committee |
The Heavy Metals Remediation Committee is a volunteer committee of the Vashon-Maury Island Community Council. Its mission is to address community concerns and health risks relating to heavy metal contaminants in our soil, plants, air and water. Concerns are met by:
- gathering and disseminating information;
- facilitating research;
- working with individuals and groups from the community as well as governmental agencies; and
- fostering successful partnerships.
