Waste Treatment Technology in JAPAN
Drying, Incineration and Melting
Matsushita Seiko Engineering Co., Ltd. has developed an optimum dehydrator-incinerator system as a means for reducing vegetable residue and sludge generated at food processing plants. This system is currently delivered and in operation at many food installations.
2. Exhaust Gas Standard ---------Clears local bylaws and regulations.
Example of implementation (1) Smoke dust concentration: 0.5 g/Nm2
(2) SOx (K value): 1.17
3. Combustion Reduction ---------15% or less (during combination)
4. Noise Level ------------------7 5 dB (A) max. 1.5 m from equipment
5. Utility ----------------------(l) Electricity
(2) Supplementary fuel (city gas, kerosene)
(3) Cooling water
1. Compactly designed unit
2. Conforms to odor-prevention countermeasures (intensity: 2.5)
3. Steel plate structure ensures quick startup (30 minutes to 1 hour)
4. Revolving furnace produces highly effective stirring.
5. Can be designed for improved heat recycling and noise-proofing.
