STOKER TYPE INDUSTRIAL WASTE
INCINERATING DISPOSAL PLANT

[Introduction]

The enormous quantities of industrial waste recently have become a serious problem; these wastes must be properly disposed of to prevent environmental disruption. This diversity of industrial waste, difficult to dispose of, requires high technology. TAKUMA, a leader in such technology, has a long history of manufacturing industrial waste incinerating facilities and municipal refuse incineration plants, as well as resource recovery plants and boiler plants of various kinds. With accumulated skill, ample experience and modern technical know-how, TAKUMA has achieved a pollution-free and low cost disposal system for industrial waste.

The disposal of waste by burning or Iandfilling, which generates secondary pollution, has become a thing of the past. Today's disposal system must be:

      - Safe and pollution-free
      - Energy-saving, low in manpower requirement
      - Low cost
      - Energy recycling
TAKUMA provides complete and low cost disposal via our waste disposal, boiler and plant engineering technologies, the finest in the world.

The flowchart of the system is shown below for paper factory as an example, see Fig.1.

For example :

Industrial waste incinerating plant for paper factory

This plant incinerates all kind of wastes produced in a paper factory. High moisture-content sludge, for the moisture comprising the greater past of the waste, is mixed and incinerated with other wastes after pre-dries utilizing waste heat. Not only the high moisture waste is spontaneously burnt but the waste heat is recovered and converted to steam in the paper factory. Flue gas is discharged into the air after dust, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid are removed.

TAKUMA Step Grate Type burning Stoker

[Characteristics]

This stoker efficiently incinerates wastes difficult to dispose of using other stokers, such as industrial waste containing much plastics, dry sludge, waste clay, etc. Air openings provided only on vertical sides prevent falling of unburnable waste. Waste is uniformly agitated as it falls down the stepped fire grates one by one, making for perfect combustion. Fig.2 shows the illustration of TAKUMA Stoker.

[Sphere of application]

TAKUMA step grate type burning stoker can be applied to various kind of industrial wastes. For example, automobile factory, food factory, sewage sludge plant, household electric appliance plant, lumber incinerating plant, paper factory and petrochemical plant, etc.

[Actual results]

TAKUMA waste incinerating plants installed throughout Japan.
