With the higher living standards in recent years, the amount of large solid refuse has been gradually increasing and its treatment become a major social problem.
The main purpose of solid refuse facility is reduction of solid refuse in order to solve the landfill crisis, and recovers the recyclable materials.
Hitachi Zosen Corporation has delivered many solid refuse facility to the whole country in Japan and is well received on this field.
This facility is based on the HASAIDER solid refuse crushers, which are capable of crushing all kinds of solid refuse. Hitachi Zosen Corporation can supply complete integrated plants including waste separation systems.

[Performance]

Bulky refuse is size-reduced through crusher or shearing cutter and crushed refuse is classified into ferrous metal, incombustible substance, combustible substance, aluminum and plastics.
Ferrous metals are recovered at magnetic separator by using permanent magnets and electromagnets.
After magnetic separation of crushed refuse, incombustibles are screened and separated from combustibles in the rotary screen (Trommel).
Nonferrous materials (aluminum, etc.) are recovered from rotary-screened combustibles in the aluminum separator (linear motor type).
Recovered aluminum is recycled as a valuable resource.
Separated combustible substance is incinerated at the refuse incineration facility.

2) Guillotine Type Shearing Crusher

Besides being capable of crushing wooden furniture. waste wood bedding, etc. ,
these crusher allow adjustment of the crushin fineness.

 (1) It is of particularly durable design so that 100% of metal scrap can be
     crushed.

 (2) The hammers are of special cast steel and there are four crushing surfaces 
     which increase the durability.

 (3) Because of the special oil hydraulic equipment, inspection within the
     frame and hammer replacement easy.

2) Guillotine type shearing crusher

 (1) The performance is good for crushing bulky, combustible refuse such as 
     wooden furniture, waste wood, mattresses, etc.

 (2) Inspection and maintenance are easy because of its simple construction.
 (3) Minimum noise, vibration and dust are generated during operation to 
     ensure good working conditions.
