NETL mourns Hart

Paul Hart, associate director of the National Energy Technology Laboratory, passed away in December 2000. Hart had been with NETL since 1995. As associate director of the lab, he oversaw environmental quality and nuclear security at NETL’s two sites in Morgantown, West Virginia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

During his DOE tenure, Hart also headed the Deactivation and Decommissioning Focus Area. DDFA is a science and technology program that develops, demonstrates, and deploys improved D&D technologies at both DOE and non-DOE sites, including commercial nuclear utility sites.
