The Waste Policy Institute, a not-for-profit corporation affiliated with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, edits and produces the newsletter. Funding for this publication is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Technology Development in the Office of Environmental Restoration and Waste Management, under Cooperative Agreement No. DE-SC06-9ORL11860.
This newsletter is designed to aid communication and interaction within the Department of Energy's Office of Technology Development and between the office and industries and other agencies concerned with technology development and exchange. Initiatives provides information about DOE programs in order to promote technology exchange and development opportunities.
