Chris Bonzon died unexpectedly on January 23. She had been with the U.S. Department of Energy at the Idaho Falls Operations Office for just over a year. She had previously worked for Lockheed Martin Idaho Technologies Co. and EG&G. Alice Williams, acting deputy assistant manager in DOE's Office of Program Execution said, "She will be remembered throughout the EM [Environmental Management] program as an individual who was fair, able to lead disparate organizations to a common goal and accomplish a great deal of work in a short amount of time. Her quiet, unassuming manner and gentle humor allowed all who knew her and worked with her to feel comfortable with her and put their trust in her."
