The Waste Policy Institute, a non-profit corporation affiliated with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, edits and produces the newsletter. Funding for this publication is provided by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Technology Development in the Office of Environmental Management under Cooperative Agreement No. DE-SC01-94EW54065.
This newsletter is designed to aid communication and interaction between and within the Department of Energy's Office of Technology Development and industries and other agencies concerned with technology development and exchange. Initiatives provides information about DOE programs in order to promote technology exchange and development opportunities.
Initiatives articles may be reprinted without permission, however the editors would appreciate acknowledgement and a copy of the published material.
