                New generation of tire processing. (EnviroTire Inc.'s scrap tire

            Abstract: EnviroTire Inc. established a state-of-the-art tire 
            processing facility in Lilington, NC, in 1995. The facility can 
            handle 450 tires/hour and can separate scrap tires into three main 
            components, namely, crumb rubber, steel wire and fiber strings. Once 
            separated, these components can be resold as primary raw materials. 
            The company relies on the different counties in the state to provide 
            it with a continuous supply of scrap tires.
