Cleaner Production Application

The cleaner production measures include,

Segregation of packaging material in the warehouse
Use of a distilling device for reusing the diluent for cellulose lacquer which is used as cleaning agent
Use of air-tight containers to return used brake fluid to the manufacturer
Making provisions for sucking the grinding dust in the dry grinding process
Insulating the workshop area including entrance and ceiling spot lights

Jagersberger's future plans include,

Start-up of a filling device for a dosing unit in autumn 1994 (expected reduction of enamel by 80 kg/year, annual reduction of proportion of dangerous by 120 kg)
Use of HVLP spraying guns depending on the technical feasibility
Increasing and accelerating the change of enamels to water based ones in the near future (precondition: reconstruction of painting chamber)
Annual checks of the wastewater from the workshop
