Data reporting needs of the State Property Office, as well as data demands of the Department of Insurance and other large departments, require a heterogenous database (a database which can be openly shared between agencies). The database will include an interface whereby database updates made by each agency will automatically be replicated on servers in the other agencies.

The new interface is a sustainability initiative because it will decrease the amount of data entry required by each agency, thus saving staff time and paper.
