Virginia Institute of Marine Science
This series of one-page fact sheets was written by Gene Silberhorn of the VIMS
Wetlands Program. Each of the 16 fact sheets describes a single wetland plant

- Wetlands technical reports
Virginia Institute of Marine Science
This series of reports was produced by scientists in the VIMS Wetlands Program.
Titles include: "Animals of the Intertidal Sand and Mud Flats,"
"Tidal Wetland Values," "Nontidal Wetland Functions and
Values," "Tidal Freshwater Swamps of the Lower Chesapeake Bay"

- The Wealth in Wetlands
John Marshall Soil and Water Conservation District
This 23-minute video, produced by the National Association of Conservation
Districts, shows how farmers are trying to restore and preserve wetlands on
their land. It includes interviews with five farmers who explain why wetlands
are important to them and methods used in restoration. Available for loan to
