Environmental Permit Information Center (EPIC)
Offers Free and Non-Regulatory Services
The Environmental Permit Information Center (EPIC)
serves as a single point of contact for environmental permitting
information. As a result, small business, industry, local
governments, and the public should find it easier to obtain
information about state and federal environmental requirements.
EPIC staff can assist with identifying required permits and can
provide specific permitting contacts for more detailed technical
assistance. This is a free, non-regulatory service.
EPIC services include:
- maintaining a list of most frequently asked permitting
questions and answers;
- providing fact sheets and process flow maps for basic permit
information;
- coordinating pre-application meetings between a customer and
the necessary permitting agencies;
- maintaining a Departmental Training Calendar on the Web.
